Norm is a seasoned, experienced litigator with a wide range of practical, trial and administrative court experience. After a decade as a partner at a national law firm, Norm opened his own practice in 2014, focusing on injury litigation and commercial disputes. Later, as his practice grew, Norm began representing contractors under Defense Base Act (“DBA”).
Profile
A 1993 graduate of the University of Houston Law School, Norm practices primarily in the Houston, Texas area, although his DBA practice is handled nationwide based upon the needs of the claimant. Norm is well versed on DBA benefits recoverable by claimants that qualify under the act, including claims for PTSD that can arise many years after the claimant has left active employment.
Norm is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas as well as the Federal Districts within the state itself. Norm is also licensed to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has lectured on the issue of the liability of premises owners for injuries to contractors on their premises. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Fort Bend Bar Association and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Norm is consistently Rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell® and was selected as a Texas Super Lawyer for 2021-2022.
